After picking up the iPhone X for the first time, I said “wow” out loud. It’s really that impressive. The near-borderless OLED screen is gorgeous and the build materials are first-class. It’s the first time I’ve used an iPhone and was blown away at the speed. The A11 Bionic chip is a screamer.
Although I love the phone, I’m waiting until next year’s version to buy one. I’m a happy T-Mobile subscriber, and would like to take advantage of the 600 MHz spectrum (Band 71) that is being rolled out nationally. Unfortunately, the iPhone X doesn’t support the 600 MHz band. This band will be used to fill in rural gaps in T-mobile’s network. Because it’s a lower frequency in the wireless spectrum, it also has the benefit of penetrating deeper into buildings.
