Dan Kessler – President
Dan Kessler is MacMaven’s founder and principal consultant. He has been using Apple products since 1983 and fondly remembers reading his first programming book “Kids and the Apple II.”
Dan has 20 years of experience in information security. He was a vice president of information security at Morgan Stanley. He has provided security consulting services at the Internal Revenue Service, JPMorgan Chase, and the World Bank. Most recently, Dan was the head of security at Rebar Systems, a provider of financial technology solutions.
Prior to founding MacMaven, Dan helped many organizations with their Mac needs, such as Met Life, Steven Meisel Studio, ACM, the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, the New York Public Library, and the Duke men’s basketball team.
Dan holds a BA in psychology from Brown University and an MS in medical informatics (medical information technology) from Duke University.
